We are a small company dedicated to bringing you quality products at low prices. We have the same distributors as many of the other sword companies out there, so we can get most anything that they have too.


Privacy: Bright Blades respects your privacy. Information collected is used solely for the purpose of doing business with our customers. We release personal information only to our vendors as needed to accomplish the transaction in progress. Email addresses are kept confidential, and only used to directly communicate with our customers, unless otherwise requested by the customer.


Payment: We accept payments by PayPal, money order, personal check, wire transfer, MasterCard, Visa and American Express. If you send us a check, we require 10 business days for it to clear. All orders must be in US dollars. If you use a credit card or PayPal, the shipment address must match your address on record, but we will not charge your account until your merchandise is ready to ship.


Warranty: We offer a full refund or no cost replacement on any item you purchase from us that is defective due to materials or workmanship. This includes the cost of shipping within the continental US, Alaska, Hawaii and Canada. International shipping will not be refunded, but the item can be replaced or refunded. Items damaged in shipping from Bright Blades will be exchanged or refunded, either by us or by the carrier. Warranty Limitations: Cosmetic defects must be reported within thirty (30) days of delivery. Non-cosmetic defects in a functional item must be reported within one year of delivery. Scratches and minor blemishes in a functional item are not defects. Abuse of an item is not covered under this policy. All items are subject to inspection; any item that has been abused is not defective and will be refused at your expense. Please contact us for packaging instructions before shipping.


Returns: In order to return undamaged merchandise for a refund or exchange, you must declare to us your intention to return it within thirty (30) days of delivery. A refund of the price you paid for the item, minus shipping and a 15% restocking charge, will be sent to you using the same method you used to pay for it. (For example, to the same credit card account.) This refund will be sent within seven (7) business days after your return is received. Returned merchandise must be received in original (“like new”) condition, so please contact us for packaging instructions before shipping.


Payment Plans: We offer flexible payment programs so you can enjoy any sword that you want. Our standard program consists of a 10% down payment and then four monthly installments. If you wish, we will send you a bill. You will get your product upon payment in full. There is no interest! If four payments are too steep, we will extend them to suit your needs to a ten month maximum. Please contact us for details. Bright Blades will order your product for stock when we receive the next to last payment. If you cancel your order after the next to last payment, there will be a 15% restocking fee. You will get the rest of your money back. If you can’t meet these payment options, Bright Blades will be happy to work with you.


Security: We take great care to protect the security of your transaction and payment information. Website transactions are processed only on PayPal’s secure server, not ours, and any records that may contain a credit card or bank account number are stored only on paper to be kept under lock-and-key.

Although most of our weapons are suitable to use in combat, we in no way promote their use in this fashion. These weapons were originally (long ago) designed to kill and maim, they are dangerous and should be treated with the same respect as a live rattlesnake. We strongly discourage full contact use of these weapons due to their destructive power. We recommend that these weapons be used as decoration only or as court swords for re-enactors or history buffs. Only those thoroughly trained in their use, should attempt to use any of these swords for theatrical or Kata purposes.
