Description

A targe is a Scottish shield with a large spike in the center. This pattern dates back to “the ’45 Jacobite Rising.” The Cameron Targe is beautifully made of wood with worked leather tooled in a knotwork pattern on the front and smooth goat leather on the back. The tacks and conchos are solid brass. For use instead as a buckler, the central spike can be removed and replaced with a matching brass screw.
